As I know, a man always knew how to save money provided he had enough to fulfil all his neccessities. Saving money is as easy as spending it but with a clause! Know what? The clause of killing extreme desires or lets say luxuries or comforts that are rarely enjoyed..For example, lets talk about a gadget, iPhone. Once you have an iPhone in your hand, it is obvious that you turn on App store and start buying things you use just once or never would use it. People like buying things just because they are not lying in thier house and not because they need them.

Do not save money but your desires
If you have no extreme desire to get things that are too expensive then this would automatically save your money. One of my friend keeps buying things just because they look pretty on the shop floor, but once they are home, he will curiously unwrap its box and there you go! It lies in some corner of the house for months together totally unused and then tries to find a new home for dead cheap rate! Alas! For example, why talk about others, lets talk about me. I bought an xbox 360 plus with all its accessories and a couple of games. I played them once and thats all! its been a year and half and I never even looked at its face as I dont find interest in playing things that I have already played once. If only I would have killed my desire of buying it, I might have saved couple of hundreds with no big deal.

Spend what is worth
If you fancy to buy a buy that is far too expensive, then try to walk through the door and enter a jewellery shop, and buy a diamond or a 24k gold ring. this way you are still shopping, spending money, getting something really valuable and more importantly, your money is still safe because in case you need money, you can get anytime by selling your gold. This is not the case with any other products such as gadgets, electronics, perishable goods that only depreciates right from the time you bill them.

Create fashion with high street clothes
Most of my friends say they got a designer wear today! I wonder why we waste our money in buying such clothes that we wear only for once or twice, ok for ten times? Still its not worth the money. If you have watched Gok’s high street fashion, you would know how easy it is to make things prettier with little money. This way you will save money which is good but you will have a great deal of satisfaction for not spending too much and also appreciation from people who admired your dress.

So the bottom line is never kill your senses, but try to create things that would satisfy both your desires and wallet. And when you look back at your savings I bet you will wonder how good your savings were for the last few days..So do enjoy life without sacrificing anything to save for tomorrow with these simple tips.

How to Determine Your Wedding Budget

Other
<guid

But there are a few statistics that maybe you weren’t sure about. Don’t worry if your wedding plans are more or less than the range given; there is no problem with being different from the statistic… just use this as a guide line for your preparation, and remember that if you’re stuck for help or consultancy- you are not alone: There is clearly a huge industry out there, just waiting for you to jump in.

First and foremost, there is the issue of budget – this monetary consideration is pretty much the first thing that comes under scrutiny when all planning starts. And so it has been concluded that the average cost of a wedding is $26,984, with one in five costing more than $30,000, and one in eight costing more than $40,000.

The average budget breakdown is as follows:

The rehearsal dinner will cost you around $1,127; you are looking at spending around $540 on your cake; to feed your guests at the wedding itself will cost you $8,601; and wedding favors are around about $222… so you are looking at averaging about $194 per guest.

Your musical accompaniments average to about: $900 on your DJ (this is just a DJ, not a full instrumental band- that will cost you an additional $3,081) and to have the ceremony melodiously signified you’ll pay another $503.

A videographer averages as $1 463 and a photographer at $2 320, having your beautiful occasion forever recorded… however to make your occasion as beautiful as you want it to be $1 988 will get all your floral needs covered, the venue (the single monster costs) averages around $12 124 and to get all those guests there to experience the beautiful day costs $351 (that’s for the invitations).

Finally, to ensure that you are the vision that matches your gorgeous wedding, an engagement ring will cost a whopping $5,392 and the wedding gown weighs in at $1,099, on average.

There are a few other things that can be included in your wedding to add more intimate and personal touches. This is no guideline for all the things you should and should not spend money on; weddings can be costly things, but they are a celebration of one of the most beautiful unifications in the world. Allow yourself to explore the gorgeous, creative, both traditional and unconventional notions that the wedding world has to offer and create the day of your dreams.
<div

These days most supermarkets have their own particular ‘value’ or ‘basics’ ranges (even the more upmarket ones), and as such it seems that the most sensible thing to do in this situation (in theory, at least) would be to try them. However, there is a certain degree of prejudice towards most cheap supermarket ranges; exactly how good can a packet of 12p noodles taste, anyway? Presentation is also often an issue with value ranges, with packaging often equally basic and positively unattractive when compared to that of the more expensive ‘Taste the Difference’ brands and their equivalents. So are value ranges any good, and if so how can you justify living off them to yourself (aside from the obvious financial benefits, of course)?

You can experiment with them

If you think that those basics noodles won’t taste very good with just the provided flavour packet then you can easily add other products with little financial loss if it’s a failure. A friend of mine has used basics tomato soup to make a sauce for some value pasta, and it actually tasted pretty good (puts the stuff you remember from the school canteen to shame). Additionally you can always splash out (relatively speaking, anyway) with some of the ingredients: if you want to buy a sauce that you know is nice to add to your value food or else perhaps a selection of spices (which will last you a long time and as such be very cost effective) then feel free.

They’re not actually that bad

According to most of my friends who have tried various supermarkets’ basics brands (myself included as I have sampled a few of their dishes), they really don’t taste that bad. Additionally, if you experiment with them a little bit as suggested in the previous point, you can almost certainly make food made with them taste rather good.

Keep telling yourself how much money you’re saving

If all else fails, try bearing this in mind as you tuck into your value sausages and chips: you’re saving a ridiculous amount of money by eating this stuff. It’s not that bad (it’s fit for human consumption, isn’t it?), and even if you don’t like it very much it might be humbling to bear in mind that there are people in the world who would do anything to get a decent meal like the one you’re enjoying (or not, as the case may be).
<div

Who doesn’t want to have more money? Unfortunately, many people are overlooking the fact that their money could be costing them money.

If this is happening to you, it could be a gradual drain and you may not even realize what is happening. Here are a few tips, including taking the time to compare credit cards that will help you evaluate your monetary situation.

High Interest Rates

If you have a high interest credit card and you aren’t paying off the balance every month, your money (or lack thereof) is costing you money. Finding something in the store and putting it on credit is not necessarily a bad thing. However, each month that your balance carries over, you are paying an additional price for your purchases.

The higher the interest rate, the more you are paying. One shirt, one television, or one vacation could be costing you an excessive amount if you aren’t paying attention to the interest rate.

Stop to compare credit cards and see if you qualify for an account with a lower interest rate. If you do, consider transferring your current balance as you work to pay it off. The lower interest rate means you are still paying a little more for those items than you would have with cash. However, it is a significantly lower amount.

Low Interest Rates

At the opposite end of the spectrum, if you have a savings account, you need to be looking for the highest interest rate possible. By keeping your cash in a low interest account, you are missing out on money every single day. Instead of making more money, you are potentially losing the opportunity to save for what you want.

Don’t just look at traditional savings accounts. There are all types of opportunities for investment that can bring in a higher interest rate. Some have a higher risk than others, so learn as much as possible about each opportunity and make a decision to use your current money to make even more money in the future.

Fees and Charges

How much are your credit cards and current accounts costing you each month or each year? Are you paying excessive fees or charges? If so, consider making a change. The ideal situation is to look for ways to have your money only add more to your finances, not drain small amounts out of the account over time.

You can compare credit cards to find one without an annual fee and with lower late fees. By keeping your balance from going over the limit, you can avoid additional fees. In the same way, compare current accounts to find the best deal. Look for accounts that do not have a monthly fee and stay clear of running into an overdraft, as these fees will continue to add up.

If you’ve just realized that your money is costing you money, it is time to stop and shop around for some changes. Look for low interest credit cards and high interest savings and investment accounts.

Double check each account to see how much you are paying each month to keep or use your own money. Transition your cash into a place that you feel comfortable with the amount you are paying and also, the amount you are earning.

Many financial experts have for years suggested that financial education should be a subject included in the school curricula. The argument is that young people lack basic economic knowledge in schools and when they plunge into an economically active life, they tend to go into debt. The one reason behind this is the lack of control over their finances. How to manage resources (income) and how to manage your spending should be an integral part of any education.

A financial Education should teach to implement the basics of administration and accounting. Control is the main tool to stay out of debt and youngsters should know that. But it is not just the young who could benefit from this advice. When it comes to controlling our finances, many of us could do a lot better.
One great tip is for those comfortable with computers is simply having a note (in a notebook or excel spreadsheet) of all sources of inputs (income) and all outflows (spending and investment) and a periodic tally would let people understand the balance of where their money is going and to address any issues before they get too bad.

Some important tips:

1. A few days before the closing of the month, all income and expenditure for the next month should be noted clearly. Any extra income should be allocated to “savings” and 5% of all income should always be allocated for “miscellaneous expenses”.

2. Make note of the average date of salaries and fixed deposit interests etc. and plan to pay your bills the same day or next day to avoid unnecessary late payment fees and penalties. You should also keep these dates as the repayment dates when applying for a loan.

3. At the end of every month you need to do a small calculation – add all income for the month and subtract the sum of all expenditures and investments. The latter should always be lower than the former even if that means you need to cut corners.

4. In respect of expenses, you should plan all kinds of expenses (fixed, such as electricity, telephone, rent, transportation, schools, etc. and variables as possible snacks and lunches, entertainment, etc.).

5. Open a savings account, which should be filled with at least 5% of your total earnings every month, month on month and don’t let that fund your movie tickets or bachelor parties. That money is to be reserved for emergency purposes only.

6. In the event that you need to dip your hands into your savings account, treat it as if you’re borrowing from a bank. Return back the amount with interest in due time.

7. Control your credit cards. Do not keep them in your wallet, use them only when you really have to and don’t consider it as an access key to unlimited funds – remember the interest rates of credit cards and also the overdraft fees are astronomical.

8. If you use credit cards to pay for your debts, you’d be hurling yourself into financial doom. Never do that unless you are in dire straights.

9. If you are in debt, try talking to your lender and renegotiate the debt at a better interest rate for you.

10. If you need something badly and don’t have ready cash for it, it’s actually a better idea to go for a bank loan rather than your plastic card – the loan would have equated instalments so you will actually be repaying the money whereas a credit card can allow you to only repay a minimum payment which can drag out the repayment term and leave you scratching your head over the astronomical bills.
<p

Many parts of Europe that were previously inaccessible due to language constraints can be explored fully and enjoyed by anyone. You can make arrangements online and use GPS navigation to find your way to the nearest restaurant, tourist destination, or youth hostel.

<img

Now, you can enjoy the backpacking experience and carve your own adventure using only a small budget and plenty of imagination. Here are some tips to help you with your journey.

Backpacking

The price of gasoline has skyrocketed in recent years, and the cost of a rental car and insurance will only add to your burden. Backpacking will not only save you money, but it will allow you to drink in the scenery instead of zooming past it.

Given the uncertainty over how fast you will be able to travel, you won’t bother yourself with a firm schedule and be able to live capriciously, outside of the stifling engine of routine. You will find yourself being more adventurous and gregarious, engaging the locals and making new friends, and if you ever get too lost, you can always connect to the internet and find your way back on the right path.

Eat Like a Local

Eating out everyday can get extremely expensive. Many tourists fall into the trap of justifying their purchases by telling themselves they are on vacation. However, you can save money and enjoy foreign cuisine by eating like the locals do. Wherever you go, there are plenty of mom and pop shops and local dives that are just as delicious as any five star restaurant.

The secret is finding out where they are. Once again, you have two resources at your disposal, the locals and the internet. You can also save money by not drinking bottled water, but rather refilling it at the local drinking fountains.

Hostels and Guesthouses

Rather than stay at a hotel, take advantage of a youth hostel or guesthouse. These dormitories are great ways to meet young people and make new friends. Often times you will find expatriates who have been living there for a quite some time, and can point you to the best places to eat and have fun.

The only drawback is that you will have to share a room with many other people, but the costs are low and as roommates, you’ll be able to interact with people without the awkwardness of approaching a complete stranger.

Public Transportation

Take advantage of the public transportation if you need to make a long journey. In Europe and Asia, the trains, subways, and even buses are great ways to navigate from city to city. In countries with very narrow streets and heavy traffic, this will also help you avoid the highway gridlock as well as the exorbitant costs of a taxi. For long trips, the trains and rail networks are typically much cheaper than flying.

However, there are some low cost flying options, particularly in Europe. EasyJet and RyanAir are two <a

The best thing to do is weigh the costs of each and determine what is best for your travel situation. If you opt for the flight, you should be able to book your travel online.

Getting engaged is really exciting. However, planning a wedding is really stressful. It’s no secret to how expensive a wedding can be. It can put financial strain on everyone involved. So to lessen that strain, I’ve come up with a few ideas to help you.

Start consigning your stuff that you don’t use or wear anymore. Pick a day coming up, and start going through your closet. Put everything in a bag that you don’t wear anymore, or foresee yourself wearing again in the near future. Ask your fiancé to do the same. Look for local consignment stores, and do some research as to which you feel is the best fit. Most consignment stores only take what is in season. So if it is summer, only bring your summer clothes and shoes etc. Typically the consignment store will give you half of the money they make off of your stuff. So if you’re North Face jacket sells for a hundred dollars, you are making fifty bucks. I call my consignment store to check on my account, and then once I’ve made a decent amount of money I have them write me a check.

Start eating out less. You will be surprised at how much money you will save if you don’t go out to eat all the time. Whether this means getting the motivation to pack a lunch to bring to work, or learning how to cook some decent meals for dinner it is definitely worth it. I have started paying closer attention to my online banking, and it is crazy how much money you can spend going to restaurants on a regular basis.

Cut back on the booze. Alcohol may be fun, but it’s expensive. Especially if you’re going to the bars. Ordering drinks at restaurants isn’t cheap, and when you go out partying I have a feeling you aren’t really paying attention to the fact that your martini is $15.00. When you’re having fun out at the bars, you don’t really pay attention to the money you are flushing down the toilet. Not to mention, alcohol bloats you. So if you’re getting ready to walk down the aisle cutting back on grandpa’s cough medicine might not be a bad idea.

Set up an Ebay account and start selling stuff. Sell anything you want! People buy strange things on Ebay. If you have any old collections of things you don’t want post them on Ebay. Chances are, some sucker out there will buy it. For example, my grandma has been buying me Charles Dicken’s Christmas houses since I was two. I probably have an entire village at this point. Do I want them? No. Guess what I’m doing, selling them on Ebay to someone that does. Sorry, grandma.

Use coupons. I know, it’s kind of scary at first. Especially if you’ve ever watched one of those extreme couponing shows, but it does really help you save money. Even if you just use a couple at the grocery store every time you go. Because I am embarrassed of using coupons, I download them digitally to my grocery savings card. Go to your grocery store’s website, and check to see if you can download coupons digitally. Then no one except you knows you’re couponing! You will be happy when you look at your receipt!

<p

Product descriptions need to captivate your audience, inform them about a product and sell them on its benefits—and all of this needs to be accomplished in one paragraph.

While product descriptions can be tough to write, the following tips will help make the process easier and ensure your product descriptions are doing what they’re supposed to be doing—selling the product.

1. Do Your Homework
Before you can write a description about a product, you need to know everything about it. Visit the manufacturer’s website, read brochures and product reviews and try to get the specifications and benefits of the product. Get to know the ins and outs of the product and find out as many details as possible, including material, color options, available sizes, etc. The more information you have, the easier the description will be.

2. Write for Your Audience
Once you have compiled all the information possible about your product, you need to comb through it all and decide whom this product targets. If your product will most likely be purchased by women, your product description needs to be written to attract women buyers. If you make the mistake of writing for the wrong audience, your product description will be very ineffective.

3. Strong First Sentence
When a reader is in a rush, the first sentence will make or break their attention to the rest of the description. If your first sentence does not entice them, they will move on to something else. Having a strong first sentence will increase their desire to keep reading.

4. Include Important Information
Detailed product descriptions will help sell the product. Customers who read the description want to know everything about the product before they decide to purchase it. Knowing everything up front will allow them to have an easy purchasing decision and prevent them from the hassle of returns.

If possible, listing the most important information with bullet points will help grab the reader’s attention. If the reader is in a rush, they will skim over the bullet points rather than read a paragraph of copy. If you have the space and your style guide allows for it, pick three to five benefits or features that you think are the most important to sell the product, and call them out with a bullet point.

5. Be Original
Everyone knows that plagiarism is a big no-no, but unfortunately, many people copy and paste their work, especially when it comes to product descriptions. Many companies that sell a product will use the copy the manufacturer provided verbatim. Having the same copy as other companies will not make a reader want to purchase from you. Instead, they will probably purchase from the company who is either closest to their home or who has the best price.

If you create your product copy to be witty or intriguing, and if you provide your readers with information on the product that they will not find anywhere else, you will boost your chances at earning the sale.

6. Sound Professional
If your product description sounds like a toddler wrote it, readers are going to be turned off. A description chock-full of misspellings and grammatical errors will sway your reader towards the competition, but one that sounds professional will have a better outcome on your sales.

Creating a compelling and successful product description requires work, but as long as you take your time to write them correctly, your hard work will pay off with a high number of sales.

Charlie Adams is a tech guru working as a consultant for telecommunications companies in the <a

These five ways are critical in creating attention for what your passions are.

Know What Your Movement Is

First things first … you need to know what you’re passionate about before you can start a movement through internet marketing. Once you have an idea for what you’re passionate about, you need to figure out what action you want your followers to take.

Know Your Audience

The next item on your list is to figure out what questions and concerns people have once you start your movement. Do you know all the legalities that surround your idea? What types of questions are people liable to ask about your product? Do you know a couple of facts that you can use as ammo when people come asking about your product?

You need to prepare for when your target audience asks you questions about your idea or product. If you aren’t fully prepared when you launch the movement, it’s likely that the movement will crash and burn before it gets off the ground.

How to Make Your Product Popular

It’s not easy to introduce a new product into mainstream society, so you need to know how to make your product attractive to the consumer. Is it kid-friendly? Is it a must-have item for parents? Does it help people become healthy? Figure out the types of topics that people like to talk about, and see where your product fits in to the mix.

Alerting Consumers about Your Movement

You need to get the word out that you’re launching a movement, and you can start by e-mailing everyone you know that is interested in your product. The more people you tell, the quicker the word will spread about your movement.

When talking to interested consumers, clue them in to the facts you researched so they know more about your product. You need to incorporate your product into a popular topic, so it will be easy for you to rally up supporters.

Spread the Word

Sign up on multiple social networking websites to gain followers and spread the word about your movement. If your product is popular with the public, the word will spread like wildfire. Talk about your movement on a blog, on the radio, and in social forums. Depending on the topic of your movement, you may want to inform political figures and celebrities as well.

If you’re passionate about an idea that could change the way people live, you can start a movement easily through the use of internet marketing techniques.
<div

Thankfully, managing our money online gives us the chance to do many of the banking tasks that would normally involve visiting a local branch. And providing you take certain precautions when online, internet banking can be one of the safest and convenient ways to access and manage your account.

Why Bank Online?

Online banking has become extremely comprehensive and now allows you to do a number of banking tasks from the comfort of your own computer. As long as you have access to the internet you can now check statements, pay bills, transfer money, view direct debits and even order new cheque books should you need them.

Opening an account is easy as well and can be done through a secure online application process. Not only that, but you can also help the environment and have statements sent by email rather than by post.

Is Banking Online Safe?

Generally, yes it is safe to bank online, providing that you pay due attention to a few safety precautions. For one thing, you need to keep your personal details private – as you would for any other form of banking. Make sure that any PIN numbers or necessary passwords are protected, preferably by committing them to memory rather than writing them down.

It also helps to ensure your computer has the latest security and anti-virus software. If not, get it updated before you start online banking. If you share a home computer or use computers at a web café, for example, be careful not to save any passwords to the computer and never leave the machine unattended while logged into your account.

Make sure you have a secure connection when logged on to your bank’s site. You can check this by looking for the padlock symbol in your browser window or checking that the web address changes from http to https, which denotes a secure site.

You also need to be aware of scam emails and websites, also known as phishing. These emails link to fraudulent sites that ask for money or prompt you to enter your username and password. Phishing emails can be very deceptive and may look authentic, so if anything bothers you it is best to steer clear.

Remember, your bank will rarely ask you for your full log-in details and password, so beware of any that do. Most genuine online sites will ask for two or three characters from your password instead. If you’re concerned, ring your bank to check.

With these security aspects in mind, banking online can be a quick and easy way of managing your money and becoming more aware of your finances.
<div
